Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It's her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human--or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.
My Report
I've never been too interested in paranormal, supernatural books like Twilight (which i still haven't read), but after reading a certain supernatural book (which will be later revealed in the Best Books of 2010 category) i decided to give Shiver a try. I was also suggested to read Shiver by a friend who had instantly fell in love with it. I, though, had a completely different opinion.
The beginning of the book was a bit slow, but it kept me reading. I adored Grace's love of photographing wolves, which i felt helped develop the start of Sam and Grace's relationship. But later on the book just got so boring! So boring I couldn't even finish the book. Honestly! It wasn't about Grace and Sam so much anymore but it was more about just wolves and not Grace and Sam's relationship. Maybe Stiefvater did continue with their relationship at the end. I wouldn't really no because....I didn't finish it!
All the while, Sam and Grace's relationship was very adorable (the parts I read) but I just want that much of a "romance" for me.
Shiver is a good supernatural book but just not good enough to be a supernatural/ROMANCE book for me.
